    • Digital and Safeguarding : Cyber Mother, Digital Child

Digital technologies are advancing so fast and the adoption rate is rocketing, even by children. These new trends also expose vulnerable women and children to new cyber threats such as online sex predators, child pornography, cyberbullying, scams, and cyber fraud from cyberspace. Mothers and women without digital skills or cyber awareness can’t protect themselves and their families from these cyber evils and are also at risk of losing their jobs to digital technologies. All these put immense pressure on women and so the need to empower them to learn the technological trends and their opportunities. Through this activity, cyber awareness in women to understand how to ensure their children use digital technologies in a safe way will be raised. Women will also be introduced to new opportunities in digital technologies and how these technologies can be effectively utilized in an entrepreneurial way to increase their competitiveness and gender inclusion.
